«Assistant Electrical and Electronic Superintendent
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Electrical and Electronic Superintendent to join our Technical department based in Limassol, Cyprus.
This role will support the Superintendents in managing electrical and electronic systems across various vessels, with flexible assignments.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain electrical and electronic equipment on vessels.
- Coordinate services, repairs, and maintenance with the Technical Coordinator.
- Track and resolve equipment deficiencies and technical issues.
- Manage requisitions and inventory for parts and spare parts.
- Support dry docking preparations and remote monitoring of vessel systems.
- Conduct technical inspections on board vessels.
- Maintain accurate records for audits as per ISM Code.
Qualifications:
- Electrical Engineering degree (specialization in Electronics is preferred).
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of shipping industry, classification rules, and safety regulations.
- Willingness to work irregular hours and travel overseas.
- Leadership and decision-making skills.
- Experience is a plus.
