C4P develops intelligent software that helps companies navigate and understand EU public procurement. Our platform uses natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning to extract insights from thousands of tender documents across Europe, supporting better decision-making for business development in the public sector.

The Role
We’re looking for a Python Developer who enjoys working with text data and automating data processes. In this role, you’ll help maintain and enhance our text-based data pipelines, and contribute to the development of new features that integrate large language models (LLMs) into our internal tools and products. This is an opportunity to work with real-world language data at scale and explore practical applications of recent advances in AI.

Your responsibilities

• Maintain, adapt, and extend Python scripts used to collect, clean, and process large volumes of public procurement data.
• Improve the performance and reliability of our text-based data pipelines.
• Support the integration of LLMs into our workflows, e.g. for classification, summarisation, or extraction tasks.
• Help design and prototype new AI-driven features that rely on LLM capabilities.

What we’re looking for

• Strong Python skills, with at least 1 year of professional or hands-on experience in scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience working with text data and libraries such as pandas, re, spaCy, or similar.
• A strong interest in natural language processingand an eagerness to work with large language models like ChatGPT in applied use cases.
• A structured approach to debugging, refactoring, and documenting code.
• Based in Athens, Greece, with the ability to join occasional on-site working sessions.
