“TMS Cardiff Gas Ltd. is looking to recruit an Assistant Project Engineer (Naval Architect/Mechanical Engineer) to join its New Projects team.

The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of newbuilding projects, contributing to engineering, planning, and project execution activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to build a career in ship management and newbuilding projects within a leading shipping company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the preparation and organization of technical documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Support the team in collecting and compiling technical data related to projects and tenders.
• Help maintain project records, files, and tracking tools.
• Assist in the coordination of communication between internal departments and project team members.
• Support senior engineers in reviewing drawings and technical submissions.
• Help monitor project progress and report basic updates to the team.
• Assist with organizing meetings, minutes, and follow-ups with shipyards and vendors.
• Provide general administrative and coordination support during project execution and shipyard activities.
• Support the identification and escalation of basic issues to senior team members.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• University Degree in Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineering.
• Recent graduate (no experience required).
• Completed military obligations (where applicable).
• Basic understanding of ship design and engineering principles.
• IT literate, particularly with MS Office.
• Proficient in English, orally and in writing.
• High sense of responsibility and attention to detail .
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Relevant hands-on experience on ships or shipyards will be considered a plus.
